NEWS: There is a debate now on whether to raise the national debt ceiling or not. According to Deuteronomy 28:12 "...thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow." Senator Mitch McConnell has proposed a deal giving the president the authority to raise the debt ceiling without Congressional approval, which violates Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution.
WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: You can contact your senators and representatives and tell them to:
1- Not raise the national debt
2- Do not authorize new taxes
3- CUT SPENDING (This is the solution to the problem)
