Make it your New Year's Resolution to Vote

NEWS: In the latest presidential election less than 57% of eligible people voted. State-wide and local elections regularly get less turn out, and those primaries are usually decided by only a few hundred people. As Edmund Burke said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." There are several state-level elections coming up in 2010. Many of these contests can be decided by Christians registering to vote, especially in the primaries.
John Jay, the first chief justice of the Supreme Court, said, "Americans should prefer and elect Christians as their leaders."
WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: If we want Christian people to be those making and ruling on our laws, then Christians must be active in their election. You can register to vote by clicking here. It's simple, fast, and free. Let your voice be heard in 2010!

The Mayo Clinic, the American Medical Association and hospital associations say it will drive hospitals out of business, Americans out of the medical profession, and result in rationed and inferior care for America.

Chruch schools can't refuse to hire sodomites

NEWS: President Obama's nominee for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Chai Feldblum, is aggressive advocate for some of the most radical sodomite views that have ever been expressed.
"There is a war that needs to be fought and it's not a war overseas where we're killing people in the name of liberating them," Feldblum said. "It is a war right here at home where we need to convince people that morality demands full equality for gay people."
This is what she wrote in the Brooklyn Law Review in 2006: "As a general matter, once a religious person or institution enters the stream of commerce ... I believe the enterprise must adhere to a norm of non-discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity." So, if a church opens a library or school for example, they can not deny a person a job based on them being a sodomite.

Feldblum has also said, "There can be a conflict between religious liberty and sexual liberty, but in almost all cases the sexual liberty should win."

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: Her nomination is going to the full Senate for a vote. Contact your Senators today and ask them to vote no to Chai Feldblum becoming head of the EEOC. You can learn how to contact your Senator by clicking here.

Healthcare Bill has "Marriage Penalty"

NEWS: As marriage and the family are under attack, and fornication is more accepted, is it any surprise that the new healthcare bill actually penalizes people who get married verses those "living together."

Former Minnesota state legislator Allen Quist points out that two single people each making $30,000 per year would pay $1,320 per year combined for private health insurance if the Pelosi House bill was in effect now. However, if the two individuals were to marry, they would pay a combined cost of $12,000 a year for the same level of insurance under the Pelosi bill. This "marriage penalty" extends all the way from a two-person combined income of $58,280 to $86,640. Quist said that the Pelosi bill is designed to weaken the family. Obscenity on ABC

NEWS: This month, on ABC broadcast of the American Music Awards, Adam Lambert, singing "For Your Entertainment," kissed his male keyboardist and simulated a sex act with another performer.

According to Matt Krause of the Liberty Counsel,"They (ABC) knew that he was going to do something provocative and outrageous. They promoted it on the promos. Before the show he said there's a double-standard for men and women, [that] women can be more sexual in their performances than men can, and [he hoped] to challenge that stereotype or double-standard tonight."
ABC choose to expose children and other onlookers to this sodomite act while watching a major network at prime time.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: Contact the Federal Communications Commission filing a complaint about ABC's airing of this lewd performance. Click here for how to contact the FCC.

CHRIST back in Christmas

News: In the on-going war to remove Christ from Christmas, may retailers have removed the word "Christmas" from their stores and ads. However, after pressure from Christian groups, Gap's Old Navy division is launch a new television commercial this weekend which they say, "has a very strong Christmas theme."
Many Christians have joined the boycott of Gap as a result of its initial "holiday" ad that mingled Christmas with the pagan "Winter Solstice" holiday.
Gap says the new ad will include people proudly cheering “Merry Christmas", and features Christmas trees, lights and ornaments as well.

What You Can Do: Keep informed on which stores are shunning Christ this Christmas season - a list of some of those stores is in the below article called "The War Against Christmas." You can let stores without Christmas know you won't be purchasing items there. This news about Gap stores is an example of how Christians taking public stand CAN make a difference.

Pepsi pushing homosexual agenda!

NEWS: The Pepsi company donates tens of thousands of dollars every year to promoting homosexual events throughout the nation, and is a sponsor of the 2009 New York City gay pride parade. Now PepsiCo isn’t content with pushing homosexuality inside its own company. It feels compelled to use corporate leaders in pressing other companies to accept it as well.

In the October 2009 "Out and Equal Workplace Conference", PepsiCo’s vice president and CIO led a seminar to teach employees in the art of “leveraging strong sponsor or leader relationships” within companies to embrace homosexuality. The seminar was entitled “Use ’em or Lose ’em.”

At the same event, a manager of PepsiCo’s corporate contributions and foundation department served as a judge in the Out and Equal’s “Outie Awards.” The awards are given in celebration and recognition to companies and employees who advance homosexual causes in the workplace.

PepsiCo also donated money to the event as an “advocate” sponsorship and placed a half-page ad in the event program.

What You Can Do:

1) Boycott Pepsi products (Pepsi products include: Pepsi soft drinks, Gatorade, Aquafina, Mountain Dew, Dole Juice, Sierra Mist, SoBe, Mug Root Beer.)

2) Contact PepsiCo at (914) 253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652 and tell them you are boycotting its products until it stops promoting the homosexual agenda.

Healthcare Bill - Your Taxes funding abortions!

NEWS: The Senate is drawing closer to voting on Obama's Healthcare Bill. The bill has already passed the House. If this becomes law, then taxes will increase and our dollars will fund state-sponsored abortions.
The Congressional Budget Office predicts that under the Senate's proposal, millions of Americans will lose the employer-based coverage they currently have.
"It's a terribly expensive bill," states Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi. "I don't know how they can tout it as something that actually saves money; except that they're using a few accounting gimmicks to maybe make it look better at first. It raises taxes to a tune of half-a-trillion dollars. It eliminates the so-called 'Stupak language' which was negotiated in the House and was designed to ensure that no taxpayer dollars go to fund abortion through these insurance plans. That language is taken out."
(President Reagan warned about Socialized Medicine. Listen to his 10 minute speech on our "Heritage" page.)

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: Contact your state's Senators and ask them to oppose the Heathcare Bill! You can learn how to contact your state's Senator's on our "Speak Out" page.

One-World Government in December 09?!

ALERT - ALERT - ALERT - ALERT - ALERT - ALERT
NEWS: In October of this year, the Minnesota Free Market Institute hosted an event at Bethel University in St. Paul where the speaker, Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, warned the American people to stop Obama from signing a ‘global climate treaty’ at the climate change conference in Copenhagen in December that will ultimately surrender U.S. sovereignty to a World Government under the guise of helping the environment. If this treaty is singed and ratified, it marks the fulfillment of one of the prophecies mentioned in the book of Revelation, and emphasizes how little time is left before Christ calls home the true church.

WHAT YOU CAN DO: According to the U.S. Constitution, international treaties must be ratified by a 2/3 majority in the Senate. If it is ratified, then according to our Constitution, the treaty takes presidents over the Constitution. Contact your senator today and plead with them to not ratify this treaty. I encourage you to follow this link to watch this startling video yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYZkph2DfSg

Christmas back in Kentucky

NEWS: With all the bad news now-a-days, I am happy to report something encouraging to you. Kentucky Governor Beshere has changed his mind about calling the traditional Christmas tree on the capitol grounds in Frankfort a "holiday" tree.
More than 5,000 Christians throughout the state and nation contacted the governor and were instrumental in achieving this victory for Christmas and against the forces of political correctness..
Bottom line: it worked. Thanks for speaking up – and congratulations on your victory!
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Say "Merry Christmas to everyone you know this December, and use the opportunity to tell them about the greatest gift ever given, Jesus Christ. He IS, the reason for the season.

God returns to the Capitol Visitors Center

When the $621 million Capitol Visitors Center opened last year, somebody was conspicuously absent at the opening ceremony: God.
Virtually all references to the role that faith in God played in the founding and development of the United States was scrubbed from displays.
The secular fundamentalists who designed the exhibits even mistakenly said that our national motto is "E Pluribus Unum" ("Out of Many, One") and engraved it on stone, while the actual motto, "In God We Trust," was nowhere to be found.
While there was plenty of room for mentions of Earth Day, AIDS rallies and casinos, there apparently was no room for God.
But thanks to Rep. Randy Forbes (R-Va.), the Congressional Prayer Caucus, and Christians who spoke up– the oversight has been corrected and visitors to the center now see "In God We Trust" engraved over the entrance.
PRAISE THE LORD!
