NEWS: There are several people seeking to be the next president of the United States. Christians (all Americans really) need to be informed about who is running, and where these people stand on the issues.

HOMOSEXUALS TAKE FIGHT TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES

NEWS: The homosexual activist group "Fairness Campaign" is pressuring the city council of Berea, KY (in Madison County) to enact special provisions for sodomites; it is called the Fairness Doctrine. A public forum on this is to be held in the next few weeks. For years, this homosexual group has tried, unsuccessfully, to get special privileges for sodomites approved on a state-wide level. Now they are going town to town trying to do it on a local level. Louisville, Lexington, and Covington have already given in to the pressure. The city of Henderson passed such laws, but public outcry resulted in those laws being repealed.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: You can keep updated on items before your city council to know when this battle comes to your town so you can act and warn others.

Those in Madison county can express your opposition to spread of the homosexual "Fairness Doctrine" in your community by:

1- Attending the upcoming Public Forum (as of this writing the date is yet to be determined)

NEWS: Kentucky voters will get to choose their candidates for Governor, Secretary of State, Auditor and other offices in a May 17th primary.

NEWS: Kentucky will be electing a governor, secretary of state, and other key offices in November. Who will be in those elections is decided this month!

Knowing who stands for someone is a good way to know what they stand for. (NOTE: in the time since the guide was made the TEA party has endorsed Phil Moffett for governor. Also running for governor is Bobbie Holsclaw who now has been endorsed by the unions (specifically the JCTA teachers' union and the Teamsters.)

NEWS: America's dependence on foreign oil continues to hurt our economy, and worse, sends our money to nations hostile to us.
