President steals power from Congress & The Court

NEWS: President Obama has ordered the Department of Justice to no longer uphold the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), protecting states from being forced to recognize homosexual marriages of other states if they move there. This law was passed by Congress in a bi-partisan vote and signed into law by President Clinton. Obama has declared it unConstitutional and told Attorney General Eric Holder not to uphold the law. Article I Section 1 of the Constitution says that Congress makes the laws, not the President, and Article III Section 2 of the Constitution says the Supreme Court interprets the law (NOT the President). But he has taken the authority of the Court for himself in declaring this unConstitutional and nullifying law passed by the duly elected legislature of the people (Congress).
WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: 1) Read about the system of checks in balances in our Constitution and the dangers of any of the 3 branches taking power of the others. 2) Contact your Representative in Congress telling them you want a House resolution saying Congress will defend DOMA.
