Signs the end is near

NEWS: The pope has called Monday for the creation of a new world order economic system. He says the one-world economy would be the "achievement of a universal common good." He suggests the reform process to accomplish this begin with the United Nations as a point of reference. To lean more, click here. This news should sound familiar to Christians, as the Bible predicts the creation of a one-world economic system in-place during the last days.

As we see prophesied events coming to pass, we should be increasingly anxious for the Rapture and busy about the business of calling the lost to the Saviour. This is an exciting time to live. Instead, remember Christ's words in Luke 21:9 "But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass..."

None of the things going on today are taking God by surprise. He said it would get worse as the day approaches. Let us be found faithfully working when He returns.

President steals power from Congress & The Court

NEWS: President Obama has ordered the Department of Justice to no longer uphold the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), protecting states from being forced to recognize homosexual marriages of other states if they move there. This law was passed by Congress in a bi-partisan vote and signed into law by President Clinton. Obama has declared it unConstitutional and told Attorney General Eric Holder not to uphold the law. Article I Section 1 of the Constitution says that Congress makes the laws, not the President, and Article III Section 2 of the Constitution says the Supreme Court interprets the law (NOT the President). NEWS: The Kentucky Senate has passed Senate Bill 9, known as the "Ultrasound Bill." This bill requires abortionist to allow a woman to see an ultrasound of her baby before the pregnancy is ended with an abortion. It ensures that a woman has full information about the irreversible action she is considering prior to making a final commitment. In states where similar bills have passed, the number of women who see the ultrasound then decide to have the abortion anyway decrease dramatically.
