Coming to a state near you

NEWS:  The atheist group, "Secular Coalition for America" is working to establish a chapter in every state this year.  In June they are set to try and start in Kentucky.  Their goals include abolishing traditional marriage, getting churches to lose their tax-exempt status, to remove "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, among others.  They are working to lobby state law makers to push their anti-God, anti-religious liberty agenda.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT:  You can get in on their conference call about establishing a Kentucky chapter.  The call is to be held June 6 at 3 p.m.   To get in on their conference call, call (530) 881-1400 participant access code: 978895.
You can also visit the Kentucky Capitol and establish a relationship with your legislator encouraging them to protect our religious liberties.  To contact your Kentucky state legislator click here.

NEWS:  Kentucky Pastor Ronnie Spriggs preached a sermon denouncing same-sex marriage and Obama's support for it, calling on him to be voted out of office.  (Makes me think of Psalm 109:8)  Because of the pastor's stance on Biblical principles he and the church are under attack by Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT:  You can pray for Pastor Spriggs and his church (Hager Hill Freewill Baptist).  You can also send a letter or e-mail of support to let them know you appreciate their courageous public stand!  You can send them an e-mail by clicking here.  To write a letter, the address is:
