Make it your New Year's Resolution to Vote

NEWS: In the latest presidential election less than 57% of eligible people voted. State-wide and local elections regularly get less turn out, and those primaries are usually decided by only a few hundred people. As Edmund Burke said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." There are several state-level elections coming up in 2010. Many of these contests can be decided by Christians registering to vote, especially in the primaries.
John Jay, the first chief justice of the Supreme Court, said, "Americans should prefer and elect Christians as their leaders."
WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: If we want Christian people to be those making and ruling on our laws, then Christians must be active in their election. You can register to vote by clicking here. It's simple, fast, and free. Let your voice be heard in 2010!

ObamaCare = Reagan warned us!

NEWS: The Senate version of ObamaCare will place "Planned Parenthood" clinics promoting abortion in schools. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, says that if the bill becomes law, Americans will spend $234 billion more on health care over the next ten years than if the Democrats do nothing.
The Mayo Clinic, the American Medical Association and hospital associations say it will drive hospitals out of business, Americans out of the medical profession, and result in rationed and inferior care for America.
President Reagan warned about the dangers of socialized medicine. To here Reagan's 10-minute speech about it, click here.

Chruch schools can't refuse to hire sodomites

NEWS: President Obama's nominee for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Chai Feldblum, is aggressive advocate for some of the most radical sodomite views that have ever been expressed.
"There is a war that needs to be fought and it's not a war overseas where we're killing people in the name of liberating them," Feldblum said. "It is a war right here at home where we need to convince people that morality demands full equality for gay people."
This is what she wrote in the Brooklyn Law Review in 2006: "As a general matter, once a religious person or institution enters the stream of commerce ... I believe the enterprise must adhere to a norm of non-discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity." So, if a church opens a library or school for example, they can not deny a person a job based on them being a sodomite.

Feldblum has also said, "There can be a conflict between religious liberty and sexual liberty, but in almost all cases the sexual liberty should win."

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: Her nomination is going to the full Senate for a vote. Contact your Senators today and ask them to vote no to Chai Feldblum becoming head of the EEOC. You can learn how to contact your Senator by clicking here.

Healthcare Bill has "Marriage Penalty"

NEWS: As marriage and the family are under attack, and fornication is more accepted, is it any surprise that the new healthcare bill actually penalizes people who get married verses those "living together."

Former Minnesota state legislator Allen Quist points out that two single people each making $30,000 per year would pay $1,320 per year combined for private health insurance if the Pelosi House bill was in effect now. However, if the two individuals were to marry, they would pay a combined cost of $12,000 a year for the same level of insurance under the Pelosi bill. This "marriage penalty" extends all the way from a two-person combined income of $58,280 to $86,640. Quist said that the Pelosi bill is designed to weaken the family. (For more information, click here.)

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: Contact you Senators today and tell them to oppose the healthcare bill! You can find out how to contact your Senators by clicking here.

Aborted babies used in new product

NEWS: Neocutis, a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology and skin care, is using aborted fetal cell lines to produce several of their antiaging skin creams. Neocutis is exploiting the remains of a deliberately slaughtered babies for vanity and financial profits. The Neocutis Company is quite open about the source of the product, namely “fetal skin.” What they don’t say right up front is how they get it. The source is the abortion industry!

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT: 1) Refuse to buy anything from the Neocutis company.
2) Ask your family doctor if they perform abortions, if they do them them know you will be taking your business somewhere else instead of funding their practice of murder.
(May this abomination to human life renew our prayers and efforts to no-longer have legalized abortion in our country.)
